The Eastern Iowa Mental Health and Disability Region, was formed under Iowa Code Chapter 28E to create a mental health and disability service region in compliance with Iowa Code 331.390. The Region was approved by the Department of Human Services on 5/23/13 and serves Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine and Scott Counties.

FAQ
Who can sign up for the training?
Any person who lives or works in Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine, or Scott County. This scholarship is available for any person serving these counties regardless of profession.

If I do the online training, do I have to join a cohort, and do I have to attend Zoom meetings?
No, You do not need to join a cohort. Although it is highly suggested to be
able to have support from fellow students and to feel part of the cohort community. You will still have support from teachers and trainers at Challenge to Change, Inc., regardless if you join a cohort or completely outside of a cohort.
How long do I have to complete the Online Training?
You will have one year from your start date to finish the online training.
Can I apply for continuing education credit?
Yes, continuing education credit is available for education providers and through the Yoga Alliance. Other professions may contact their Continuing Education Board for special approval (including but not limited to healthcare providers-nursing, OT, PT, etc.) If you have specific questions regarding continuing education credit, please contact
